Good people, helping good people in tough times

GET involved

If you think you have the experience, passion & desire to make a positive difference in somebody’s recovery, then give us a call or send a message.

All of our volunteers must get something back in return for the time they donate to us. We are so grateful to our team for all the hours they have dedicated to enable a better level of mental fitness for people across our communities. You give, we give, that’s RISE volunteering.

Peer workers are people with personal experience of mental health problems who are trained and employed to work in a formalised role in support of others in recovery.

It is sometimes beneficial to attend meetings with clients with a chaperone a chaperone is a person who serves as a witness for both a parties.

Your donation could give someone hope & help them to realise they are not alone.

However much you can spare, could answer a call to our distress helpline, providing someone with vital support & information about help in their area. With your help, we can be there for everyone who needs us.

A donation will help RISE continue to support people to overcome past difficulties & move forward with hope to make a positive contribution to society.
